VEHICLE GOVERNING SYSTEM FOR PAINT MACHINES
This project involved evaluation of a speed governor system installed by Alberta governor services limited on a paint machine. The objective was to assess the performance of the speed governor in maintaining a constant speed during the application of paint on the highway. The system was found to be satisfactory for maintaining a constant speed of 12 mph (19 km/hr) on the highway for level and uphill terrain. However, for downhill terrain, the operator must use his brakes to maintain a constant speed. (Author/TRRL)
