SLOPE PROTECTION RESEARCH (PHASE 1A)
The terms of reference for the project included a state-of-the-art overview of present practices, alternate materials and direction for future research. The investigation combined a literature search with information collected through personal inquiries. The report is complete with a reference list of publications, contacts and selected product information. The report recommends that future research work should concentrate on producing specific recommendations and design guidelines for alternate forms of streambank protection. (Author/TRRL)
