FINITE ELEMENT METHODS IN FLOW PROBLEMS
Eighty-five papers and extended abstracts of papers by various authors deal with the possibilities offered by the finite element method in fluid flow problem solutions. Major topics covered are basic theory; viscous flow, Stokesian fluids, hydrodynamics; aerodynamics, gasdynamics and compressible flow; wave and stability phenomena; diffusion, dispersion and convection; lubrication; estuary and thermal/fluid flow; viscous, creeping flow; flow in porous media; and, programming aspects and applications. All papers are abstracted.
