BRUNSWICK COUNTY ROAD ORDERS 1732-1746
The Albemarle County road history project established the feasibility of such studies of early road networks and their use in the environmental review process. This project, by gathering and publishing the early road orders of the vast parent counties, lays the foundation for research by local groups over a broad area of Virginia westward from the fall line to the mountains.
