After the preliminary traffic examination and working out conceivable acceleration measures in the public transport network, the effectiveness of the individual measures is to be shown by assessing the effects which occur (cost, benefits). The aim of determining the efficiency is to assess the effects of alternatives which cannot be measured monetarily. Based on this assessment, taking into account the costs associated with the measures, a series of priorities is then worked out. The areas of effectiveness, assessment criteria and indicators of users, operators and individual traffic were compiled in tables. Notes are given on the selection of the assessment process (cost-benefit analysis) and on methodical procedures in this analysis (lower and upper limits of assessment).
