LUMINAIRE SUPPORT CAPABILITY TEST PROGRAM, TEST NOS. 87F073 AND 87F074

Analysis Group, Incorporated is currently providing on-site support services to the Federal Highway Administration for the operation and maintenance of the Federal Outdoor Impact Laboratory (FOIL) located at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center. As a part of this support effort, a series of tests is being conducted to evaluate the capability of currently approved breakaway luminaire support devices when impacted with an 1800 pound vehicle. This report documents the results of the tests conducted on the Precisionform, Incorporated base (Model Coy Coupling) and pole (Height: 53 ft 2 in.).
