STATE OF ALABAMA HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT WEIGH IN MOTION DEMONSTRATION PROJECT. FINAL REPORT

This project was directed to a demonstration and evaluation of the Radian Corporation/Rainhart Company weigh in motion system as a tool for vehicle weight enforcement and for gathering highway planning data. Field work for this study consisted of use of the equipment to assist in actual vehicle weight enforcement operations and gathering data for a regularly scheduled loadometer study. Observations and conclusions of the staff conducting this study is included in the report.
