CONSULTANT REPORT ON AN EVALUATION OF CATALYTIC CONVERTERS FOR CONTROL OF AUTOMOBILE EXHAUST POLLUTANTS
An assessment was made of the status of catalysts for automotive emissions control and estimates of the future developments in catalytic converters, especially for oxides of nitrogen removal. The basic performance characteristics and durability, materials supply, toxicology of emissions, and kinetics and modeling of automobile catalysts are discussed.
