VEHICLE SECURITY. PART 2: SPECIFICATION FOR SECURITY SYSTEMS AGAINST THEFT ON IN-CAR EQUIPMENT FOR ENTERTAINMENT AND COMMUNICATION PURPOSES

This part of BS AU 209 specifies requirements for the performance and use of systems intended to deter or prevent the theft of in-car radio, audio and visual equipment used for entertainment and communications, hereinafter referred to as equipment, in passenger cars and car derived vehicles. It applies to equipment fitted during vehicle manufacture and after market equipment. It does not apply to ancillary equipment such as aerials, interconnections, balance controls and loudspeakers.
