PROCEDURES FOR THE ANALYSIS OF PAVEMENT CONDITION DATA. VOLUME II: MAPCON USERS MANUAL. FINAL REPORT

This project involved modifying and developing a computer program entitled "Method for Analysis of Pavement Condition Data" (MAPCON). The MAPCON programs provide analysis paths for safety, roughness, structural capacity, and distress data for pavements. The MAPCON program was developed to aid pavement evaluators and designers. It transforms raw pavement data to a form suitable for input to a pavement management system. This manual is a description of the entire MAPCON system. It includes a discussion of how all the various components of MAPCON fit and work together. Each of the individual analysis paths is described in detail in terms of the user's needs with a summary of the theory and uses of that type of data, the required inputs and expected outputs, and an example problem run through the MAPCON system. This manual also provides information on running large sets of batch data without using the interactive input processors.
