DIESEL FUEL DEVELOPMENTS IN EUROPE AND THE USA
Increased demands for transportation fuels in Europe and the USA, coupled with an economic need to minimise the consumption of crude oil, will make necessary some relaxations in the traditional specification for diesel fuel. Indications are that present automotive equipment will be able to handle these modified fuels without significant problems, but some engine modifications may become necessary to optimize their performance.
