ALCOHOL, DRIVING AND ROAD SAFETY AMONG YOUNG MOTORISTS. YOUNG DRIVERS IMPAIRED BY ALCOHOL AND OTHER DRUGS. PROCEEDINGS OF A SYMPOSIUM ORGANIZED BY THE INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS BEHAVIOUR RESEARCH ASSOCIATION HELD IN AMSTERDAM, 13-15 SEPTEMBER 1986
A comparative epidemiological study was carried out in two different departments in France to study alcohol consumption and its effects on road safety with particular regard To young people. The results of a door-to-door survey are presented here in such a way as to focus on the interaction between the sort of journeys made and the reasons for them and the consumption of alcohol, whether habitual or occasional.
