The composition of a new concrete brand is determined by preliminary tests. The choice of concrete composition in the stage of preliminary tests depends upon the required properties of fresh and hardened concrete. The paper deals with some yugoslav and foreign criteria for determining the concrete composition of a particular brand. It also analyzes selected criteria for different concrete composition of identical quality. (TRRL)
