H-BAHN, A FULLY AUTOMATIC PEOPLE MOVER SYSTEM. CONFERENCE ON AUTOMATED PEOPLE MOVERS: ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT IN MAJOR ACTIVITY CENTERS HELD MARCH 25-28, 1985, MIAMI, FLORIDA
The H-Bahn suspended cabin system is the contribution of the Siemens--DUEWAG joint development venture towards solving the problem of economical public transportation. This track-bound railroad system operating on a segregated traffic level can run fully automatically under computer control. It has undergone trials on test installations. The first public installation is now being commissioned in Dortmund.
