GEODYNAMIC MEASUREMENTS BY MEANS OF IN-SITU SEISMIC TESTS. PROCEEDINGS OF THE ELEVENTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SOIL MECHANICS AND FOUNDATION ENGINEERING, SAN FRANCISCO, 12-16 AUGUST 1985
MESURES GEODYNAMIQUES PAR ESSAIS SISMIQUES IN-SITU
In connection with geotechnical studies carried out on a large civil engineering construction site, a seismic investigation was undertaken to determine the dynamic characteristics of in-situ soil deformations. Surface seismic-refraction tests and crossholes and crosshole-uphole tests between boreholes were carried out. The techniques used are outlined together with the results obtained. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 287689. (TRRL)
