DEFORMATIONAL PROPERTIES OF ANISOTROPIC CLAY SOILS. PROCEEDINGS OF THE ELEVENTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SOIL MECHANICS AND FOUNDATION ENGINEERING, SAN FRANCISCO, 12-16 AUGUST 1985
The results of a field loading test on soft saturated anisotropic soils are described. The pore pressure tends to concentrate in the edge zones of the embankment's foundation. The relationship between the coefficient of permeability and the rate of the change in the pore pressure is derived. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 287689. (Author/TRRL)
