SETTLEMENTS OF SOIL UNDER LARGE SIZE FOOTINGS. PROCEEDINGS OF THE ELEVENTH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SOIL MECHANICS AND FOUNDATION ENGINEERING, SAN FRANCISCO, 12-16 AUGUST 1985

A formula for calculating soil reaction according to the depth of the plastic zone under large-size (over 10 m wide) footings is presented.
