TORSION, BENDING, AND SHEAR IN PRESTRESSED CONCRETE BEAMS CONTAINING STEEL FIBERS
Test results of 27 prestressed beams containing steel fibers and subjected to combined bending, torsion, and shear are reported. The parameters varied were the type of loading employed and the fiber content in the mix. These beams exhibited no reduction in their torsional capacity, even when additionally subjected to substantial bending moments. Interaction curves are proposed which are adequate to obtain conservative values of the ultimate capacity of prestressed fiber concrete beams under loading.
