ALUMINUM CULVERT REPLACES BRIDGE IN INDIANA
The installation is described of 3 new aluminum box culverts as replacements for deteriorating concrete and steel bridges. The corrugated aluminum box culverts were specified because they meet the most demanding requirements for rural road bridge replacement and because they can be installed quickly. Cost considerations were also important factors in their selection. Advantages in the use of these culverts are reviewed.
