CANIK UL - A NEW CREEP TESTING MACHINE

This paper describes the "canik ul", a new creep testing rig, designed and constructed in the University of Leeds. Its aim is to provide an economical, accurate and portable creep testing equipment suitable for testing a wide range of bituminous mixtures, including cold emulsified bituminous mixtures. A detailed description is given of the equipment and its precision in terms of the repeatability of the results. The effect of the type of bituminous mixture on the precision of the equipment is also considered. (TRRL)
