DEWATERING CHALLENGES FLORIDA CULVERT PROJECT
It is described how a quadruple 12 ft/10 ft box is being replaced with a double 24 ft/10 ft culvert 208 ft long, while maintaining water flow through at least one barrel and six lanes of heavy traffic at all times. The project consists of 8 or 10 separate phases with a substantial amount of sheet piling and diversion of water. The details are described of the dewatering process.
