S&L GIVES COMMUTERS FREE RIDE

Citicorp Savings of Illinois (Chicago) launched a promotion in cooperation with Metra Commuter Rail System to promote the Citi-One account. Themed "Citi-One is on your track," the promotion offered commuters from four northwestern suburbs who opened Citi-One accounts free train tickets, discounted fares and rides in a specially designated club car. The promotion is aimed at highlighting the convenient locations of Citicorp Savings' 60 branches. Metra got involved to boost ridership.
