TRAFFIC ACCIDENT DATA COMPARISON OF MALE AND FEMALE DRIVERS
A comparison of traffic accident statistics suggests that no significant difference exists between men's and women's driving ability. The article reviews current literature with reference to the psychology of male and female drivers, driver age, type of vehicle, and driver's purpose. Postal service accident data are examined, as well as police accident data.
