KING'S CROSS

In light of the recent fire at King's Cross Underground in which 31 people perished, the author questions whether or not the Underground carried out proper precautions and evacuation procedures in addition to presenting an observation that staff/management relations are extremely poor. The author hopes that despite the findings of the official investigators with respect to the fire, Underground management will make the necessary changes that will not only make passenger safety a prime concern with concrete safety plans, but also that better staff/management relations and communications will be developed and utilized.
