WEST SIDE MANHATTAN BUS STORAGE FEASIBILITY STUDY. FINAL REPORT

The objective of this study is to examine the need for and feasibility of creating a bus storage facility on Manhattan's West Side, in order to free up additional capacity and provide more reliable travel time in the Lincoln Tunnel, improve PABT operations, reduce the number of buses parked on-street in Manhattan (especially in residential areas), and reduce traffic and air quality problems associated with bus layover throughout Manhattan's West Side.
