PROCEDURES FOR THE STATIC AND REPEATED-LOAD INDIRECT TENSILE TESTS. INTERIM REPORT

The report establishes the test procedure and equipment required to conduct the indirect tensile test and the repeated-load indirect tensile test. The equations and their use to determine the various elastic properties are presented. An ASTM test procedure to conduct the repeated-load indirect tensile test was developed from this effort.
