ENERGY-RELATED SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING PERSONNEL OUTLOOK, 1987

This is an examination of the labor market for energy-related scientists and engineers. The report presents estimates of the current and future work force by occupation and energy source area. It examines the balance between the supply of scientists and engineers and the demand for them in the energy sector. Using 1986 as the baseline, this report also examines the labor market implications of energy production/distribution and energy-related research and development activity through 1992.
