The hearings cover the public works categories (highways, bridges, and other facilities providing transportation, water, and waste management) and focuses on the services. It focuses on infrastructure questions related to the following: private sector, economic growth, international competitiveness, financing, work force, federal budgeting procedures, research, and technological innovation.
