ROAD TRAFFIC (SEATBELTS) BILL. EXPLANATORY MEMORANDUM.
Details are given of an amendment to the road traffic act 1972. This consists in adding a clause granting the secretary of state power to make regulations governing the compulsory wearing of seat belts. This act, together with the road traffic act 1972 and the road traffic 10 (foreign vehicles) act 1972 are now to be cited as the road traffic acts 1972 to 1974. /TRRL/
