SOME PROSPECTS FOR CANADIAN TRANSPORTATION
In this paper, the author puts forth the position that major developments in transportation have come about as a result of three main forces, either singly or in combination: technological innovation, government policy and user needs/demands. Current Canadian trends in the light of these driving forces are presented with projections for the future. For the covering abstract of the conference see IRRD 286189. (TRRL)
