PATHOLOGICAL LIMIT STATE FUNCTIONS. ACMSM 9; THE NINTH AUSTRALASIAN CONFERENCE ON THE MECHANICS OF STRUCTURES AND MATERIALS, 29-31 AUGUST 1984, UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY
Methods of assessing risk levels implied by structural codes are discussed. Highly nonlinear limit state functions were found while assessing the reliability of a reinforced concrete portal frame. An unconventional way of interpreting the intent of structural codes is suggested, as a result. (Author/TRRL)
