AMBIENT LEAD AND OTHER METALS FROM SELECTED AREAS OF SYDNEY

High volume air sampling was performed within four schoolyards in areas of higher and lower emissions of lead in order to confirm the regional values obtained by the New South Wales State Pollution Control Commission. Results for suspended particulate, lead and lead content of suspended particulates in air are presented. The results are further subdivided into levels present during and out of school hours. A summary is also presented for 14 other ambient trace metals. For the abstract of the covering entry of the conference, see IRRD 283762. (Author/TRRL)
