CAIRO METRO ENTERS SECOND PHASE

The second phase of the Cairo Regional Metro Project which is to extend to El Marg, has gotten under way and is scheduled for service in mid-1989. It will include modernized and electrified features along with relocated sections of both northern and southern lines.
