CYCLIC AXIAL DISPLACEMENT TESTS ON MODEL PILES IN CLAY. TECHNICAL NOTES
This study invesitigates the long term cumulative effect of processes that may have a structural effect on clay, resulting in some permanent loss of shear resistance at the pile clay interface. These phenomena have been studied using small-scale physical modelling. Study was made of a model pile element installed in a remoulded clay bed.
