THE MAGNETIC CURRENT REGULATOR OF THE TRANSRAPID 06 FOR THE MAGNETIC LEVITATION RAILWAY PILOT PLANT EMSLAND

The magnetic current regulator and its associated power units form part of the magnetic wheel for the magnetic suspension railway TRANSRAPID 06. After a short survey the individual components, as for example, the power circuit, the control and monitoring are described in detail. The production version was delivered in July 1985 following a commissioning and modification programme over the previous three years.
