PLANNING, DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURES IN INDIAN ENVIRONMENT
The development of the transport infrastructure in India, including the organizational set-up, is briefly presented. The interaction of the site planning organisations in the various phases of the planning process is discussed. Discussions on some recent case studies of transport facilities projects are included.
