DESIGN OF A SIMULATION MODEL FOR EVALUATING AN INTEGRATED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT IN COHERENT DOWNTOWN NETWORKS. PT. 3

AUFBAU EINES SIMULATIONSMODELLS ZUR BEWERTUNG EINER INTEGRIERTEN VERKEHRSLENKUNG IN ZUSAMMENHAENGENDEN KERNSTADTNETZEN. T. 3

The aim of a 3 part research project was to design a means of assessment directed at traffic system management measures in cities, which will enable the user to simulate the traffic with all the elements in a city road network in the planning stage and to quantify the effect of each individual control measure on its own or combined with others using a simulation model. In part 3 of the research project, there is a report on the production of the stochastic SIMNET simulation model. The further development of the program system (turning, target traffic according to separation ratio), new program components for control depending on the traffic and the 3 case studies (City area of Berlin (West), Hamm and the Garden Exhibition at Berlin (basic load, bus priority, parking guide system, alternative route control).
