MEASUREMENT OF TRAVEL TIME IN URBAN AREAS

RESTIDSMAETNING I TAETORTER

The aim of the work is to investigate travel behaviour on main roads in urban areas according to factors such as geometric design, traffic concentration, environment and function. The report states measurement locations, methods and results. These are presented according to number of lanes, speed limit, function, environment and distance between junctions. The measurement results at each test location are presented in "Meddelande Tu 1984:4, Restidsmaetning i Taetort, Bilagedel". (TRRL)
