INNOVATIVE FINANCING FOR TRANSPORTATION: PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS AND EXPERIENCES. FINAL REPORT
This report describes the proceedings of a National Symposium on Innovative Financing for Transportation, held in Fredericksburg, Virginia, on December 11-13, 1985. The Conference Proceedings Report includes papers or presentations delivered at four plenary sessions and three invited overview papers. Session papers cover a variety of subjects dealing with transportation financing including: New Approaches to User Charges; Recent Experiences with Benefit Assessment Financing; Development Financing and other innovative approaches and integrating financing techniques; and raising private capital. Overview papers focus on the variety of innovative financing options currently available and discussed financing issues from the perspective of urban and statewide transportation.
