PROPAGATION OF SOME NATIVE WOODY LANDSCAPING PLANTS. INTERIM REPORT

Germination studies, including treatment to mitigate seed dormancy, were conducted on seven species of native woody plants for landscaping use. Preliminary results indicate that seed dormancy and germination performance of the species under test dictate production of seedling transplants in preference to direct seeding.
