THE EFFECTS OF THE CHANGES IN CAR TAXATION ON THE PURCHASE AND USE OF CARS

VEROTUKSEN PAINOPISTEEN SIIRTAMISEN VAIKUTUKSET HENKILOAUTOJEN OSTOIHIN JA KAYTTOON

As taxes amount to half the price of a car in Finland it is considered that there is a great need to change this situation. One possibility, intended to lower the price, would be to increase the fuel tax. This report clarifies the effects of this change. (TRRL)
