NEW LOW WATTAGE METAL HALIDE LAMP
A new, compact 100-W metal halide lamp is described. This technologically advanced lamp can be used where 200-, 300-, 500-W incandescent or 250-W self-ballasted mercury vapor lamps are used. It provides more light than a 300-W incandescent while drawing just 100 W of power. Moreover, the 100-W metal halide lamp offers excellent color with its warm light of 3200-K color temperature in a small source size with a medium screw base which allows compact, lightweight, and manageable luminaire design. Its color features make the lamp especially well suited for retail stores merchandising, lobbies, banks, walkways, airports, shopping malls, and post tops.
