COLLAPSE LOADS OF CONTINUOUS ORTHOTROPIC BRIDGES
The ultimate-load carrying capacity of relatively wide continuous orthotropic slab bridges is estimated using the yield-line theory. Bridges of skew and rectangular planforms under several loading conditions are considered. The influence of the angle of inclination of the interior pier line support on the collapse load is established.
