APPLICATION AND FINANCING OF GERMAN AGT SYSTEMS
The research and development program for automated guideway transit systems in the Federal Republic of Germany is addressed. A review is provided of the program goals and the demonstration that resulted from the program. The program funding method, funding rates and program phases are presented. The paper concludes with the future outlook of these systems in Germany and elsewhere. (Author abstract)
