A SYSTEM FOR AIDING COST MANAGEMENT AND DECISION-MAKING WITH RESPECT TO ROLLING STOCK REPLACEMENT
The authors describe a system designed to aid rolling stock management and improve productivity and profitability. It is intended for transport companies which operate locomotives. The practical example given is that of the management system for traction motor maintenance of the Canadian railway company, Via Rail Canada.
