PROPORTIONING OF ASPHALTIC MATERIALS FOR TRIPLE TYPE SURFACE DRESSING

DOSIFICACION DE MATERIALES ASFALTICOS EN LA EJECUCION DE TRATAMIENTOS BITUMINOSOS SUPERFICIALES TIPO TRIPLE

This report discusses procedures for the effective proportioning of the total amount of asphaltic cement and its fractionation for each application, including the extra layer. The following data are considered: type, quality, and unit amount of aggregate, and total amount asphaltic cement (between 9.5 and 10.5% of total aggregates) including the additional application. The use of rapid- setting diluted asphalts is considered. /TRRL/
