GENERALIZATION OF THE GROUND REACTION CURVE CONCEPT
A method is proposed for computing (a possible solution of) the ground reaction curve, for use in tunnel support analysis, in cases where the initial stress field is not hydrostatic. Rock around a circular tunnel is assumed to behave as an elasto-plastic material with a mohr-coulomb yield envelope. For the covering abstract of the symposium see TRIS 452576. (Author/TRRL)
