ALCOHOL, YOUTH AND TRAFFIC SAFETY: PUBLIC POLICY--AN INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVE
This paper attempts to achieve two distinct, though linked objectives. First, it considers in general terms the question of alcohol and youth in order to indicate the potential of various preventive strategies. Then, second, it considers the specific issue of drinking and driving in order to present in a purely tentative manner some options for public policy in relation to this already serious and growing problem.
