SAFETY IN AUTOMOBILE-RELYING SOCIETY

This research project explores those aspects of safety in automobile-relying society which are significantly influenced by a variety of social and cultural factors. The environment surrounding motor vehicles has been rapidly changing. For the purpose of this project, some cases of traffic accidents and other affairs closely related with safety were selected and analysed in details which led to the modification of social norm. The analysis indicated that in today's society in which the relationship between man and vehicles is becoming ever closer, reassessment of human factor becomes essential.
