LIFT FOR WHEELCHAIRS

HUBGERAT FUR ROLLSTUEHLE

A special wheelchair lifting device has been developed by the Railway Institutes to help lift passengers in wheelchairs into coaches. This is part of a drive to rationalise passenger transport on the DR. The use of this equipment will create greater safety for passengers travelling in wheelchairs and also improve working conditions of staff in charge of loading.
